They are not that expensive. Find the part # on parts catalog and go here to get a price reference: http://www.motospecialties.com/parto...re=DucatiOmaha

hmmnn the part number i found was 43711661A.
the parts catalog for the 08 1098 said that was the part number for the decal on the red models. did these decals come in different colors on red 1098 models? I thought they where all silver(brushed aluminun look)

i just punched in your part number and it comes up as a white decal, so im assuming the part number i came up with was the correct one.

That number I got was strait off the dealership invoice. Which means one of three things: either my dealerships computer is screwed up, and they have the wrong parts number in there; they ordered the wrong decal, or the Red 2010 1198S has a different part #. I will check into it and get back with you.

I just re-read your post.

Are you talking about the actual 1098 stickers that go on the side fairings or the Ducati letters that go on the tank. Because I'm talking the stickers that go on the tank? The fairing stickers will surely be different, but the tank oddly should be the same.

I rechecked with my dealer and they told me that the "Ducati" sticker is brushed aluminum in color.

I would say go with the number you pulled up. My dealer plugged in your part number and the sticker for the 1098 came up. I think you have a winner.
