Default Back on a Ducati

Thought I'd introduce myself...

It's been a while on a Jap bike, but I've sold it now & ordered a Streetfighter...

Can't wait to pick it up

Hey luzzo
I see the bug has bitten.........
Highly recommend Akrapovic carbon slip-ons when it comes time for cans. Great sound and look good.
You're in for a whole lot of fun!

Congrat's luzzo. Most of us know the feeling well and you obviously have it Bad! I waited 5 months for my 1098 and had bought all the accessories before it arrived. Retail therapy... Yeaaahhhh!.

I also purchased a new 2010 in Canada and I'm looking for slip-on's. Did you have to make any adjustments to the ECU or does it run well with the stock ECU ? How about Zard or Arrow slip-on's ?

I have Akra open slip-ons and according to the their website they are designed and tested using the stock ECU (I have stock ECU, no adjustments). Also according to their website the open slip-ons give 4-5 hp increase with the stock ECU - which may be true, but to be honest I'm not a good enough rider to explore the performance extremities of the bike, so can't really feel it.

As far as running with stock ECU - great, if any difference a slight improvement on the low RPM fluffy fuelling. The best thing is the sound they put out - much better than stock cans! Not offensive though.

iuzzo i just put the termis on mine thursday and they sound good to me. the cans came with the ecu and an air filter so you get all the kool stuff. i have an aprilia that i put the akra stuff on and it sounds real good too. also put a power commander race airfilter and had it had it pulled on the dyno. motowheels in california has alot of good quality cf for the streetfighter. iget my stuff there and am happy with the parts. they also sell an intergrated tailight you might want to check out. i put that on too and it cleaned up the back of the bike alot. have fun with it. joe d
