God help me when it's the Eyetalions making the most technologically advanced, (arguably), bike for 2010, but I too am really contemplating this bike. Beta testing can be a bitch though. I haven't an order in yet. I'm leaning toward the S touring in black. It would replace a 2005 BMW K1200S.

Did they offer you $1500 on your bee?

I'm waiting to ride it for 2up and all weather suitability. Sure looks great though!

They offered about the same as the local BMW dealer did last year and about the same as the BMW dealer offered a friend on a 2006, (mine is a 2005) Bee. And yes, although not $1500, the bee lost value faster than a 50 yo prostitute's quim. It will be better 2 up than the K1200S, (I've sat on it), and weather should be as close to the same as to not matter. Power to weight is so close as to not matter, the sound will be great, and the technology rocks. Rode the Bee yesterday and will miss it some, despite the (minor) warts.

Actually for us it will be a lot better (ergo-wise) than the K/S. My bride has long legs so the K/S is really cramped for her on long rides. The M/S was actually more roomy for her than my GSA which is the current 2-up bike. GSA has good weather protection...better than the K/S and I'd like to keep that about the same since we ride in cold weather. I know, I know...cold, in GA!

So you are headed out from #2 to #3

Ditto for my wife. She's 5'8".

Not necessarily...but, I do love the hp on it and that's what's so lacking on the GSA. I could potentially see it replacing my bee but now with the balljoints fixed I like it again.

Knowing me, I'll probably go thru all your steps after I ride it.
